The focus on this workshop will be
the Tellington TTouch – a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that
can be used on any animal. Learn how you can help your horse,
dog or human family member. You can bring your horse or use one
of ours to learn the techniques. Lunches included

Horse Spring Training. Vernon, B.C.

Exercises to limber and rebalance horse and rider, with
your horse or ours – learn Connected and TTEAM Groundwork to prepare
your horse for spring riding – improve flexibility, balance, softness
and focus. A few minutes before a ride can make huge difference
to your ride. Exercises for the rider to help find ‘neutral’ to
allow more stability and effectiveness as a rider. Lunches
included

TTEAM Connect Icelandic Riding Clinic. Vernon, B.C.
Teacher: Mandy Pretty
Three days riding Icelandic horses or your own horse. We will be
focusing on Centered/Connected Riding concepts and integrate these
skills into work on the gaits. Riders will have the opportunity to
ride different horses and we will cover saddle fit, dentistry and an
introduction to TTouch bodywork and the Playground of Higher Learning
& Connected Groundwork. This clinic is not suited for brand new riders
(call us if you are not sure) and you will be riding 1-2 times per
day. We are taking a maximum of 8 people. (This workshop is
nearly full so we have added another date in June). Lunches
included.
Price: $450.00 plus 5% GST
June 5-7: 3 Day

Three days riding Icelandic horses or your own horse. We will be

Starting Young Horses with TTEAM. Vernon, B.C.
Teachers: Robyn Hood and Mandy Pretty
Participants will have the opportunity to take a young
Icelandic horse through the steps of starting him under saddle using
TTEAM techniques. This clinic also includes working with
young Icelandic foals at their mothers'
side, weanlings, and older unhandled horses. The course is open
for people to bring their own young horse of any breed. This clinic
counts towards becoming a TTEAM Practitioner. Lunches
included.

June 21-26: 6 Day
Starting Young Horses with TTEAM. Dubois, WY

Participants will have the opportunity to take a young
horse through the steps of starting him under saddle using TTEAM
techniques. This clinic counts towards becoming a TTEAM

July 12-14: 3 Day
Just for Kids. Vernon, B.C.
Teacher: Mandy Pretty
Join us for 3 days of fun, friendship, and 5 gaits, while improving
riding and horsemanship skills in a fun, safe, environment. This day
camp will include lessons in horse care, anatomy, bodywork, handling,
and of course riding. All sessions are geared towards learning how to
interact with horses in a safe, respectful, and effective way, while
having fun and improving overall skills. Safe, well trained Icelandic
horses will be ridden at least one time a day, in small group lessons,
divided by ability. Camper-instructor ratio is high to ensure safety
and learning quality, with a limit of 6 participants for each session.
This day camp includes lunches and all lessons. This camp would be
suitable for all levels ages 10 -15.

TTouch Companion Animal
Trainings
In the
Foundation session of this dynamic TTouch training and learning
system, you will explore and acquire some of the TTouch techniques you
can use to help dogs, cats and other animal companions overcome
behavior issues and become more confident. Using these techniques will
enable you to enhance your relationship with all animals. If you are
interested in becoming a TTouch Practitioner, you can continue in the
certification program that consists of six sessions, including the
Foundation session, each lasting six days. Throughout the curriculum,
you will be guided through the various exercises, experiences and
techniques that will integrate the TTouch system and earn you the
status of a certified TTouch Practitioner.

General Information:
Coffee, tea
and water, along with snacks for break times will be provided at most
of the trainings. Lunches are included at the workshops held at
the Icelandic Horse Farm. If you are attending with a dog,
please bring a water bowl, a bed for him/her to lie on (optional), and
anything needed to make your dog more comfortable. You may also
want to include a chair for yourself (optional), sunscreen and a hat
for summer workshops. The Vernon weather can vary and while we will be
working in a covered arena we have a large outdoor arena where we also
do groundwork.
These clinics
can stand on their own, if your primary goal is to improve your
connection with your dog or cat through the use of Tellington TTouch.
The Foundation training will count towards completion of the six
session TTouch for Companion Animal Certification Program. Learn
