Meet the Instructors
Robyn Hood:
Robyn Hood, who also happens to be Linda Tellington-Jones sister,
wears many hats. In addition to running the Tellington
Training Canada office, she also serves as the editor of
TTEAM Connections Newsletter, which she has done since 1982.
As an International TTEAM and TTouch Trainer and Instructor, she
teaches clinics through out North America, Europe, South Africa, and
Australia. Robyn has been an integral part of the development of
the TTEAM and TTouch Practitioner Training Programs. Robyn, her
husband Phil Pretty and their two children live in Vernon, B.C. where
they import and breed Icelandic horses. Their farm is home to
about 130 Icelandic horses as well as two dogs, several cats, turtles
and a parrot.
Edie Jane Eaton:
Edie Jane Eaton is an International TTEAM and TTouch Instructor and
also a Guild Certified Practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method for
humans, from which the TTEAM work evolved. With her Feldenkrais
background, Edie Jane brings a creative problem solving perspective to
the work. Although she spends the majority of her time traveling
and teaching, she enjoys spending time at her farm in Alcove, QC where
you will usually find her tending to the garden.
Lucie Leclerc:
Lucie’s 3rd birthday gift demand of a real horse
with a stable to live in, in the backyard of their suburban home was a
foreshadowing of her desire to be with animals! Since she did not get
the horse, after a bit of negotiation with her parents, she brought
home feral cats and lost dogs instead. She has shared her life with
animals ever since.
At a time when she was looking for an alternative approach to help
one of her dogs with a health issue, Lucie heard about the Tellington
TTouch. After reading a book she opted to go and see if it was just a
beautiful story or if the method was as great in practice as on paper.
Definitively the teachers were walking their talk and she just could
not stop going to trainings from then on. As a TTouch and TTEAM
student she never felt judged in her process of learning and to this
day she applies that principle with animals and people alike. Her
passion is looking for solutions and possibilities instead of
problems, in animals as well as in people. Lucie brought
TTouch and TTEAM to French speaking people in Quebec and she is
currently our only French-speaking Instructor.
Kathy Cascade:
Kathy Cascade graduated from the first US TTouch Practitioner
Certification Program in 1996, and became a TTouch Instructor in 2003.
Kathy is an innovative teacher who incorporates humor with an
interactive teaching style. Her background as a physiotherapist and
experience working with reactive dogs are a great asset to the
program. She currently lives in Oklahoma and shares her home
with five horses, three dogs, and four cats. Kathy's
passion is riding her Icelandic horse, Gabriel.
